What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal data Kite Dates ECC collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

We collect only what is needed to run a booking:

• Contact details — name, email address and phone number
• Booking details — dates, participants, hotel name and room where a transfer is requested
• Rider information you choose to give us — level, weight and equipment sizes, used to prepare the right gear
• Safety information — medical notes you disclose so instructors can keep you safe
• Account details if you register — email address and a hashed password
• Order and payment status for shop purchases

We do not store full card numbers on this website.

Why we use it

To confirm and deliver your booking, arrange transfers, prepare equipment, contact you about changes such as wind cancellations, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. If you subscribe to the newsletter we use your email address to send wind reports and offers until you unsubscribe.

Who can see it

Your data is visible to Kite Dates ECC staff who need it to do their job. Bookings are visible to the instructors assigned to them. We share data with third parties only where necessary to deliver the service — for example a payment provider or an email delivery service — and only the minimum required.

How long we keep it

Booking and order records are kept as long as required for accounting and legal purposes. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Registered customers can update their own details and request account deletion from the Security page in their dashboard. To make a request, contact us using the details on the Contact page.

Cookies

This site uses a strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in and a cookie to remember your shopping basket. Neither is used for advertising.

If this policy changes we will update the date shown on this page.
