How rental works
Four steps, no surprises
Rental is a request, not an instant checkout. We confirm the gear is free for your dates before anything is agreed.

Pick your dates and kit
Choose the days you want to ride and add the items you need. The running total updates as you go, so you see the tier price before you send anything.

We confirm availability
We check the stock against your dates and reply by email or WhatsApp. Nothing is charged when you submit the request.

Collect at the centre
Pick your gear up at the centre on day one. We size the kite to your weight and the forecast, and sign the rental agreement with you.
- 4
Ride, rinse, return
Use the fresh-water washing area and the compressor between sessions. Return the kit on the agreed date and your deposit comes straight back.

Intermediate
Everything you need for a session: kite in your size, bar and lines, twintip board and a harness. The simplest option if you are travelling without gear — tell us your weight and level and we will match the kit to the day’s wind.

A current-season kite with matched bar and lines. Sized on the day for your weight and the forecast — most riders end up on a 9 m or 11 m in Hurghada’s summer wind.

Freeride twintips with pads and straps fitted. Larger boards for lighter wind and lighter riders, smaller ones when it is honking — say what you weigh and we will pick.

Pricing
How the rate tiers work
Every item has up to three rates: a daily rate, a three-day rate and a weekly rate. We apply the biggest blocks first and charge whatever is left at the daily rate — so a nine-day hire is one week plus two days, never nine separate daily charges.
Whole weeks first
Each complete seven-day block is charged at the weekly rate.
Then three-day blocks
Whatever remains is grouped into three-day blocks at the three-day rate.
Then single days
Any leftover days are charged at the standard daily rate.
Never more than the daily rate
If the tiers ever added up to more than days × daily rate, you pay the lower figure.
Deposit and damage
What you leave and what it covers
Refundable deposit
A refundable deposit is held per item for the length of the hire and returned in full when the gear comes back undamaged. Deposits currently run from €40 to €400 depending on the item — each card above shows its own.
Loss or damage beyond fair wear is charged against the deposit at the stated replacement value. Late returns are charged at the daily rate.
Optional damage waiver
For €10 per day across the whole booking you can add the damage waiver, which limits what you are liable for if something tears or breaks while you are riding. It is added at the last step of the booking form and is entirely optional.
Before you book
What you need to rent
Rental is for independent riders. If you still need someone on the beach with you, book a course or the day-use programme instead — you will progress faster and you will be covered.
- You can water start, ride upwind and come back to where you launched
- You can self-launch and self-land without assistance
- You know the safety systems on the bar you are given, and we check them with you
- You ride inside the marked area and respect right-of-way rules
- You have valid travel and accident insurance — it is not included in the rate
- Photo ID and the signed rental agreement at pick-up
