Kite Dates ECC
Terms & Conditions
Booking and reservations
All reservations are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only when we have sent you a written confirmation. Where a deposit is required, the place is held once that deposit is received.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us — name, contact number, hotel and dates. We cannot arrange a transfer to a hotel we have not been told about.
Payment
Prices are quoted in euro and are per person unless stated otherwise. The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout; only methods the business has activated can be used. Where a booking requires a deposit, the balance is due before your first session unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Cancellation policy
You may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your first session. Inside 48 hours the deposit is retained and any balance already paid is refunded. Guests who do not arrive for a booked session and have not contacted us are charged in full.
Liveaboard trips follow a separate schedule: a 30% deposit is non-refundable, the balance is due 60 days before departure, and bookings cancelled inside 60 days are non-refundable — though we will always try to move them to a later departure.
Wind and weather
Kitesurfing depends on the wind. If a session cannot run safely we reschedule it for the next available slot during your stay at no extra cost. If your departure date makes rescheduling impossible, the unused hours are refunded. The decision on whether conditions are safe rests with the instructors.
Safety
You must follow the instructions of your instructor and the centre staff at all times. Helmets and impact protection are provided and must be worn during lessons. Riders who ignore safety instructions, the marked riding area or right-of-way rules may be asked to leave the water without a refund.
Equipment usage
Equipment provided for lessons is insured by the centre. Rental equipment is covered by the terms of the rental agreement you sign at pick-up: a refundable deposit is held, an optional damage waiver is available, and loss or damage beyond fair wear is charged at the stated replacement value.
Return rented equipment on the agreed date. Late returns are charged at the daily rate.
Medical conditions and fitness
You must tell us before your first session about any medical condition, injury, medication or pregnancy that could affect your safety on the water. You must be able to swim and be comfortable in open water. Participation is at your own risk, and we strongly recommend personal travel and accident insurance — it is not included in any of our prices.
Minimum age and supervision
The minimum age for courses is 8. Participants under 18 need the consent of a parent or guardian, who must sign the participation agreement.
Photography and marketing
We sometimes take photographs and video at the centre and on the water. These may be used to promote the business. Tell us if you would prefer not to appear in published material and we will respect that.
Liability
You take part in kitesurfing activities voluntarily and accept the inherent risks of the sport. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited.
Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Contact
Questions about these terms should go to the contact details on our Contact page.
Something here unclear?
Ask us before you book rather than after. We would rather explain it now than sort out a misunderstanding later.
