ION 3/2 Steamer Wetsuit

A full 3/2 mm steamer — 3 mm through the body, 2 mm in the arms and legs — which is the correct thickness for Hurghada from roughly December through March. Seams are glued and blind-stitched then taped internally, so water does not flush through when you crash, which is the main thing that makes people cold. The back-zip entry is easier to get into unaided than a chest zip, at the cost of slightly more water entry at the neck. Thermal lining across the chest and back holds warmth without adding stiffness in the shoulders, which matters when you are steering a kite for hours. Get the fit snug: a loose wetsuit will never keep you warm regardless of thickness.
