Prolimit Seat Harness

A seat harness with leg straps and a low hook position, which is why almost every kite school uses this style for beginners. The leg straps make it physically impossible for the harness to ride up during a body drag or an awkward waterstart, so you can concentrate on the kite rather than on your kit. The low hook point also keeps the pull below your centre of gravity, which helps with the nose-down body position that early riders need. Most people move to a waist harness once they are riding upwind confidently, but a seat harness stays useful for riders with lower-back issues. Padding is generous and the closure is a simple front buckle with side pull-in straps.
