Full boots for riders committed to unhooked freestyle, wakestyle and hitting features, where a strap simply will not hold your foot through a handle pass. The combined lace and power-strap closure locks the heel down so all your edge load transfers straight into the board, and the stiffened cuff supports your ankle through hard landings. That security cuts both ways — boots do not release in a crash, so you need solid technique and healthy knees before committing. The baseplate mounts to standard twintip inserts and is angled slightly inward, which matches the natural stance most riders use. Ride them on a stiff board; a soft freeride deck flexes too much underneath them.
